Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Up at my inlaws sitting on the porch in the shade watching all the birdies. Warm and breezy. This is the view into town across the valley.

wow, that's beautiful W4W!

home from the big city, Wrangler and I had a blast - I'm waterlogged. but it was fun. she's the best physical therapist and medicine ball all in one. I get to carry her and toss her around the pool and she keeps saying "again" "again!" forcing me to do those reps... I slept like a rock last night and should be sleeping now, but eh... won't stress it. I'll go find something to snack on!

That's the idea... no stress! Wrangler will have you back in shape in no time. But beware the kid germs!

Those can be brutal.

oh those kid germs! she brought home sniffles after the first week and usually, Oma catches it. I rarely catch anything, one thing about Celiac is a hyperactive immune system. I'm usually immune. anyway, no one caught the crud, I was a bit concerned about my folks... even Wrangler only had a mild case for a couple of days.
someone invited me to join a sale/trade/swap facebook page for my area. at first I was bored with it because the posts were baby stuff and some strange Cricut thing that I have no idea... but there was a load of it. then the good stuff started to appear. I bought a beautiful queen sized bed frame and 2 matching dressers for $200, and a new twin bed for Wrangler for $20.
our guest room is complete... I took the tall boy dresser for my room... that's all we could manage to get upstairs. I intended to use the bed frame in my room, but it was too heavy. the guest room is on the first floor... it's supposed to rain tomorrow so we'll hit Home Depot and fix stuff around the house and hang more pictures.

Great deal on the furniture! I might have to break down and get a fb account just to be able to buy and sell stuff. I put up a craigslist ad for the Seramas and only got 3 responses (including the ill mannered child). Fortunately, that seems to be enough, but I have to wait until October before the last 2 little guys can get to their new owner. I think more people go to fb now. Even the kid's school and cross country team communicate that way. Coach has to send me special emails.

I am a dinosaur living in a technological world! But I am one of the few that volunteer... haha... so he is sure to keep me in the loop!

Happy to hear your guest room is ready.

Cheeka can tell you more about it. I think people form special chicken groups or forums. I've never been on it either, except to look at cheeka's pictures because her page is public and I don't need an account. I've been finding lately that some businesses/restaurants will not have a website, but have a fb page. I might have to give in! My brother set up a fb account just for that reason, and he got tons of friend requests from old classmates and people he didn't even know. People were getting upset with him, because he wasn't going to do a page or anything, and eventually he cancelled it. My brother the dinosaur!! I'm like you, byc is the only online thing I do.

Yay, I'm no longer the only person w/o a FB account!

The thing that irritates me is that I can't see much of anything on the pages..... I foster dogs for a rescue, and their page is on fb. I can't see anything except for about three posts. :rant

Now where did I leave that time machine?

FB is funny, what you see all depends on privacy settings and in order to actually join a group, like the foster dog thing... to see their posts, you have to have an acct. yes, people have been looking for you, of that you can be sure. you will get friend requests from the most obscure people... it is a good way to keep current with a lot of stuff and the chicken pages are numerous. lots of local pages for swaps and stuff... not that different than byc.. who also has an official facebook page. I like FB, and I like the Google Communities, there's millions of communities out there on all topics.

tonight I have to head out to meet the lady who sold me Wrangler's bed. she has some girls winter coats that will fit her, and I have some totes with locking lids that I used for my move that she will take in swap. she's moving...they'll come in handy. then take a ride to look at a bumper pool table. I'd rather have ping pong... but seriously, on the lower level, there's room for both and an air hockey table...
