Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

She's still horseback riding, she has a trampoline in the backyard which she is So into...if she ever gets tired of it, I will turn it into a chicken tractor.
She's been invited to join the school chorus... She loves to sing and dance, this summer I have so many plans - she will travel east at the end of June for a couple of weeks to see family, and I have her in 2 Jr rodeos when she gets back. Our recreation center has all kinds of activities that I will try to get her interested in, but they have cooking classes that we can do together. I know they have dance classes that she would love. Next winter, she said she would do the figure skating group that she was invited to last winter but declined because she was afraid of being embarrassed...
She's actually sad that school is over.
Wow, what a wonderful life you are giving her... so many great experiences to try. She will have a blast this summer and then be ready to head back to school. Let me know if you ever plan to travel west... maybe see the Golden Gate and redwood trees, and Monterey aquarium... and my Seramas! :D

that is certainly a worthy road trip!

I'm back from a few days in Denver, my Dad had his 2nd cataract surgery...Wrangler finished school yesterday, came down with Oma today, and decided to stay with my parents, she's so funny, asked if she could stay for a week... I'll go back tomorrow and spend at most, a few more days, but the ducks have to be moved first, and that is happening in the late morning! I don't have a new pool for them yet, but the old one will do just fine til I order the little pond thing I want.
I'm doubting that we'll stay for an entire week, that would exhaust my folks...but we'll see. their 57th anniversary is Sunday, and I'm sure they would like some time for themselves. we live an hour away...not like we can't go back and forth a bit.

Hello friends. All is well here in Kentucky. It's been a while. Still have my flock.....a few anyway...............28 I think...a broody hen....and a bator full of eggs. And the runaway if you can count her..... Breeds include Wyandotte, Delawares, Mutts, and the dreaded br's. Hope everybody is still as sick as I am with this chicken math. Misery loves company....

Good to hear from you. I've still got my little Serama flock, down to 8 now, so lots of room in that coop. 3 Crested Cream Legbars will be joining them soon. They will be big hens, but are super docile. Layer flock is at 10, and 2 new pullets will be joining them by end of summer, I hope! Got 3 that are broody and they are sooo cranky.

Oh, pretty sure I saw Roger down at the Walmart... there was a huge kerfuffle in the bread aisle.

Roger tried to check into the Waddle Inn at Fort Wrangler but she was denied space because your credit card was maxed out.
Last I heard, she was hitching a ride on highway 25 and was picked up by a old man with white hair and beard. I don't think he was Santa... His suit was all white and he smelled like fry-oil.

So good to hear from you!!!
