Can't fall out.

he does all right when he's in the sling, I don't keep him there too long - and he has his own new pink pool now, and spends a good portion of the day floating. he also has a tote bed, filled with shavings.
so, mostly, he's only in the sling to be blown dry now. he will do very minimal preening, it seems to exhaust him. and he just sits there, sopping wet. I am questioning my ability to really help him.

@cheeka How are things going?

Duckling just turned three. Someone decided to butcher her hair. :rolleyes:
She has been dry at night for a while, so tonight is the night I put her to bed without a diaper/Pull Up. She's in 2-piece pajamas, the mattress protector is in place, and so are the potty and lava lamp. Not that she wakes up during the night anyway, but just in case. No sense in denying her the chance to stay dry.

Oh, yes! Spider has been her lovey for about a year. She got upset when she recently realized it wasn't the original. He was purple, and replaced in December due to safety issues. He was basically legless, and not safe to chew on. :lol:

Oh! Her belated birthday present arrives Wednesday. A trio of bantam lavender Ameraucanas. They will be allowed in the house. The plan is to have the coop right outside of the back door, with the access door against the door. That will allow her to get the birds herself regardless of weather, and if they get loose, it will be in the sunporch.
