Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I don't know what kind of combs they have. I will look in a week or so. Okay, I will look daily, but doubt I can tell for a week.
I have no idea how many eggs I got today. Dh is home, and everything is hectic for 48-50 hours until he leaves again. I do remember the big gang only gave me 7 yesterday. I have not had less than 8 in a very long time. It was weird. The Angels gave me 3 yesterday. I think the Angels gave me 2 today, and the Biker Chicks gave me 10 or 11. Ha ha. I really don't know! Very distracted.

The time change totally messes me up for a week. Not hungry at the right time, not sleepy at the right time, sleepy at the wrong time!

My first thought on the bigger bantam was cochin, because of the shape too. 4 toes, yes? Cochins are really cute!!! Totally guessing here, but he smaller one might be OEGB (Old English Game Bantam) with the dark legs and comb. Much more petite. Can you tell what type of comb?

Bantams are a little addictive, I think! (You know the joke is weak when I have to give visual aids.

(lol, ok, lol he just asked if i wanted some) and I started picking out some. before i knew it I had em all! I love the little serama and sebrights, and my DDs are crazy over the silkies. I think i have a few Cochin too. Will try to get pics soon, they are soooo TINY!

Hey, congrats on the new banties and on having a chicken-enabler hubby.

The mob is almost back to normal. Particularly in the poop department, which is a huge relief. We can resume egg eating tomorrow; the dogs are sad. Only Monkey the EE is showing a minor respiratory infection, probably a result of a lowered immune response due to the worms. This seems to be the cause of all the problems, as nothing I tried worked until the worming poison medicine. Waiting for the Denagard to arrive and will treat the whole flock. Denegard is not broad spectrum for chickens, but effective against respiratory mycoplasmas. In swine it's described as broad spectrum, but I'm still not sure if it would be good for abscesses. How is your little porker doing? Any better?

ya he is sure getting interested! He had banties as a kid, so his buddies have all been talking in his ear lol! His best friend growing up still raises game chickens. Has some peafowl, we are going to visit in a few weeks.
My little boar is still puffy on his hip. I ordered antibiotics, injectable and have been all over the Internet reading about infection. Will be putting him in the quarantine pen before we lance it. Not looking forward to that! I shoulda said no, but he is such a doll I couldn't pass him up. UGH! He runs up and snuggles when i pet Bacon, Roxy loves him so much, she follows him all over their pasture. I told DH we better hurry up and do this, I am really getting attached to bacon! he is such a lover, starts squealing the second he sees me. Gonna hate to see him go, but at least he has had a good life.

Hard to eat them once they have a name.
