You are not kidding there, i bought 16, all they had left at TSC! DH talked me into itThe time change totally messes me up for a week. Not hungry at the right time, not sleepy at the right time, sleepy at the wrong time!
My first thought on the bigger bantam was cochin, because of the shape too. 4 toes, yes? Cochins are really cute!!! Totally guessing here, but he smaller one might be OEGB (Old English Game Bantam) with the dark legs and comb. Much more petite. Can you tell what type of comb?
Bantams are a little addictive, I think! (You know the joke is weak when I have to give visual aids.)![]()
HEHE!Hey, congrats on the new banties and on having a chicken-enabler hubby. The mob is almost back to normal. Particularly in the poop department, which is a huge relief. We can resume egg eating tomorrow; the dogs are sad. Only Monkey the EE is showing a minor respiratory infection, probably a result of a lowered immune response due to the worms. This seems to be the cause of all the problems, as nothing I tried worked until the worming![]()
poisonmedicine. Waiting for the Denagard to arrive and will treat the whole flock. Denegard is not broad spectrum for chickens, but effective against respiratory mycoplasmas. In swine it's described as broad spectrum, but I'm still not sure if it would be good for abscesses. How is your little porker doing? Any better?
Hard to eat them once they have a name.![]()
You are up late. Again. Also. How's your mom doing? Is she any better?
