she sounds just precious, and soo good to hear the new baby is home and mom is healthy! Enjoy this time, you certainly deserve it!

Went to the lake to check our camper, (we have a leak, ugh!

) got back in time to feed. We will have to just build a roof over it, the camper is 17 years old! I have a CX laying finally!

Tank lays an odd looking Xlarge egg very pointed on the small end, its a lighter almost cream brown color! I was planning to take a picture but my daughter decided to scramble it

6 chix eggs, 2 ducks and 2 goose eggs. My australorps should start laying in a week

They are getting really pink faces & combs, and cluck instead of peep! They turned 15 weeks today, and the hatchery claims 16 weeks to POL. will see if that happens...

Well I officially have 6 layers now! Whoo hoo!! After this it's a long wait for the next ones, they're only 8 weeks old. I'm not sure how many girls I have with them. One of the four is a boy for sure.

My layers: 4 New Hampshires and 2 Cuckoo Marans.
The babies: 2 White Easter Eggers and 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes ( one of whom is the boy)

I just peeked, today's hatch day, I have internal PIP on Goose #2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paddy will have a brother or sister if all goes well!!

So I put that saddle on my little abused BR and the whole place went crazy. Everybody freaked out and are treating her like she is a martian. I suppose thats good. Maybe they will stay away from her now.
