OK, I have another question. How do you get a quote within a quote like the one above, where it shows my quoting MC? Anytime I try to do that, it doesn't give me the original quote, only what the last person said.

It depends which box you click "quote" in. If the quote is in that box it will be in there when you click "quote" and type in your next line. I can't explain it the way I want but that might help

Gooooooood Morning everyone! last couple of days have been so long, 4 eggs each day, Sunday and Monday. I worked many hours and can't even remember if I popped on on Sunday, but I don't think so, 35 posts to catch up on! another long day today... I'm already at 20 hours for the week, 9 more today, looks like OT pay for me again.
I'll fess up... I nominated OK for friend... had to be more than me nominating... that was a while back, forgot all about it...

Thanks cheeka! Also glad everyone is fine, I noticed that the chickens are all flocking together now, eating together, instead of taking shifts like when i feed them. I guess they realized when the feeder goes off they better get in there and get some! I also have a few blujays perched near the feeder, waiting their turn I guess! They are four hours early.
Good of you to nominate OK, wish I'd thought of that. I guess I now have caught the virus going around....great huh...its been five years since I've gotten the flu. Another reason to stay away from Florida during tourist season.
I don't miss the noise either. It amazing to sit and hear silence, some birds chirping, roosters crowing, pitter patter of chicken feet on the poarch, the tearing of bags as they open the feed bin and dive in. I guess there isn't much else out there to eat now. They woke me up, and I'm still trying figure out what exactly they are doing with some odd noises. Next trip I think I'll get some hay for them to graze...give them something productive to do.

Yesterday morning I woke up around six (which is happening way too often this past week!) and my neck, shoulder and back were killing me. I am finding some relief with hot showers, but Vicodin has become my friend. I hope you find some relief too.
I had 8 eggs. That was 8 dancers, and a very excited me running around in the middle. 31 would be great, but I "hope" to never go above 30 birds in my gang. Feed bills need to stay under control.

Large doses of ibuprofen are letting me walk around a bit, but lifting and carrying is out of the question for now. Very bummed because I was hoping to bathe a couple of incredibly stinky dogs today. I feel like I'm 95 or something, stooped way over and limping around. Here comes Quasimodo again.

ACW, hope it is not the flu and just a quickie virus. #2son had the swine flu when it was going around a few years ago, raging fever for 5 days. He hasn't been really sick since then. Must have kicked his immune system into shape. Enjoy being home in the peace and quiet. I'm not a great traveler exactly because of the noise. Keeps me awake and then I get cranky (-er).

How exciting! More details please. How does a "chick chain" work? What breeds, ages, how many, and when are you expecting them?
