Same here I miss our mountain gal. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Get well soon.Hey ACW, just letting you know that you are missed and in my thoughts daily. Hope you are better soon.![]()
I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow. I *might* have to have surgery on my kidney. I hope I don't, but I could use some well-wishers
Oh, surgery doesn't scare me that bad. I've had at least 8 of them. And I will. It's the needles and the possible bloodwork I may have to have. I can't stand needles.Believe me, I have been thinking about you since you first told us the diagnosis! I'm a mom and so am conditioned to worry, but didn't want to freak you out by asking too many questions.![]()
Hope you are not too nervous and that the appointment goes well. There are different kinds of surgery, too. Arthroscopic surgery only takes a small little opening and is not too invasive. The idea is still scary, though. Please let us know how it goes tomorrow and remember that I will be thinking of you and sending my best wishes. Good luck and hoping for good news.![]()

My big strapping son is the same way about needles. I just tell him not to watch at all and pretend his little brother is pinching his arm! Oddly enough, needles I can handle, but the thought of anesthesia and surgery is terrifying to me. That and tornadoes. Earthquakes are a piece of cake, but the idea of a tornado is really scary for some reason.
hmmm. I had to have an IV a couple of days ago. I about cried, and it was the smallest needle they had. It hurt. And when I was little, I just sat and watched them give me an IV!My big strapping son is the same way about needles. I certainly wish you well too Animallover. Not that I forgot about you. I just know that your young and young people do much better dealing with medical problems. Keep us posted. You would be missed too if you were sick and were not here each day to chat with us.I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow. I *might* have to have surgery on my kidney. I had to have IVs when both of my boys were born. Not fun. It hurt the whole time, no matter how they tried to adjust it. The nurses blamed it on my red hair (really reddish-brown) but they said redheads are more sensitive to pain.hmmm. I had to have an IV a couple of days ago.
