Ohhhh I want a Rodger island red!!!!

I'm kinda hopping for broodies but not. DH doesn't want boys and knowing my luck I'll hatch all boys!

Christmas celebration is tomorrow and I have so much to do!!! Yikes!!!! It''ll get done... Or it won't. I'm pretty laid back!

little roger is a RIR that Roger hatched. either that or it's true...she did say that little roger would never be barred like her because she left her out in the rain, and she rusted...

I will never forget reading that... laughed so hard and still do when I think about it...
I got FOUR Eggs today! Blu laid again!

and I picked up Cheerios to go on the treat garlands along with the popcorn and raisins - I can't find the bag of cranberries... I do not know where I stashed them. I have to make the garlands tonight. it was a long day, but good... got lots of Christmas gifts from my customers, even had someone offer me a shot of Jaeger Meister! sheesh! I am driving!!!

Just like cheeka said. And Little Roger is a good girl. Wish I had another like her. Might be rusted but she can be trusted. lol...unlike her incubator/mom. You know she was raised by Big Broody. Dumped by the (evil in red) one.

Now RK Broody....aka "Road Kill Broody" is a BR and a excellent mom. Just raised 11 chicks.None of them rusted. She is living happy ever after. No missing feathers anymore. Even lays eggs unlike the .........red one.....R...r.

I couldn't remember if little Roger was actually Rogers or not.

My dad called me this evening and said he was bringing the kids' a Christmas present, and I was probably going to kill him..... he showed up 30 minutes later with this.......
