Wow great egg count! LilX fills her crop up like that too, sure wish she would get back to laying!it's so unpleasant outside, the flock was not interested in coming out. windy, cold, snowing... although the snow hasn't amounted to more than an inch. so I made a nice mash of kitten food, chicken feed, oatmeal and sliced up a package of tortilla's that probably were still good, but only cost a buck...
look at the crop on Esther! it must be her laying, she's being treated very well by the whole flock - they seem to respect the one's who lay eggs...
OK, my advice on the frostbite is to leave it alone. don't use Bag Balm anyway as I was recommended... it made it worse. the bantam boys and the white rooster look horrible and I feel dreadful because they were not that bad, and the weather hasn't been worse... I wish I had just left it alone.
10 Eggs today, including a few shades of green that I have not seen in months!
Aww wish I wash that cat right now! sprouts look great!
