Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I am so jealous of everyone's properties!  I'm on a postage stamp it seems like.  I'm somewhere between a quarter and a third of an acre.  Not nearly enough for me.  I so wish I was in a position to move!

I wish I had a daily chicken report to give.  Same as yesterday.  So far all my chickens just look like eggs 

I'm still waiting too!!!! Tho I'm getting closer I can feel it!!!!

I was going to post and say you are a lot closer than me but look, one of my chicks hatched!

False alarm. I thought one of my chicks had hatched and then hitchhiked to costco to meet me there. Nope. All still in their eggs.

I think I'll be waiting about 25 weeks or so for eggs out of these guys. Hopefully there's some girls in there...

ahhh sunshine! it was only 20° but no wind, tomorrow should be warmer, at least in the 30's...I have 12 Eggs so far, still a few girls sitting, so I will head back out by 5:30 to check for more. slept crappy again last night, not sure why this time, just overtired maybe?

Pretty balmy here...feels like 12! The sun is out though, so that helps.

I ended up with 9 today.... We didn't work on the new coop any tonight. We are supposed to be getting freezing rain, sleet, and snow mixed.... The kids will probably be on a delay tomorrow.

Boy, they sure look to be enjoying themselves. We finally got enough rain to soak the ground good, so bathing involves wet dirt which the girls don't seem to mind at all.

I'm not sleeping much either. yawn Not going to worry about it though, because come this weekend's time change, we're all going to be thrown off around here. Then in two weeks it's spring break, so we'll have boys sleeping till noon (if their mean mommy lets them!). Am I the only one who hates daylight savings time?

Got 6 eggs today.

Saw a little bit of sun. Grass is growing. Life is good.

Oh my. Been meaning to go to Costco, but think I will put it off if these guys are there. Kinda creepy?

Your chicks will be waaaaay cuter! Especially the Ameraucanas with their fuzzy cheeks!

my little end of day sitters were either faking or they decided to hold it til morning. I had no more eggs today, so 12 total. lowest egg count day in March to date.

(I hate daylight saving time. especially Spring forward, I love the evening light, but I feel sickish for like 2 weeks.)
