Colorado is pretty!
The first few times I saw my chicks stretched out like that, I kept waking them to make sure they were alive. Fakers! Scaring me for no good reason.
My Hattie found a new way to be naughty. Yesterday, her blue egg was sitting cracked by the door to the coop. Today, it was in the farthest possible corner of the run. Did I mention that the roof to their run is under four feet high? Why would she suddenly start not laying in the box? I haven't changed the box lining or position. How do I get her back to laying in the appropriate spot?
Bad chicken!
Hopefully, it is a temporary anomaly. Maybe I should get a second nest box, though.
