I agree! Food grade DEshould be ok. If say just try to keep the dust down with the baby. Maybe sprinkle in the nest when they aren't there and let them spread and dust bath in it.

TWO eggs... TWO eggs... I got TWO eggs today... and ONE chick!!
The girls were very unhappy about the coop door being blocked off, but after and hour of struggling, they finally settles into the dog crate. Today I let them free range all day to make amends. Smoke laid and egg in my ATV and Penny eventually laid hers in the crate. I was very happy to see the chick. I was hoping for Lavender, but there are 4 eggs left.
I can hear movement in the nest, but I cannot figure out what it is. Its a tapping sound. Zip maybe?? Rumples has stopped growling at me. OH... I discovered lice on Smoke.
I put DE on her and Si. I will do Penny tomorrow. I assume that Rumples has them too. When can I dust her with DE and what about the chicks? Is DE good or should I use something else? I did spray the coop with Poultry Protector.![]()
Be nice Roger it is make believe.![]()
Happy Easter to everybody and if you believe a rabbit can lay those colored eggs then you should get you a rabbit to put in your coop and see how that works for you.....that is all
