as for chicks... there aren't any to be had locally, and I'm not going to order hatchery chicks. she'll have to cope. a failed hatch is a failed hatch... I'll keep her inside, spoil her, but make her get up and about... and I'll give her more eggs in a month.

Hey Scrambles, what's the word on finding chicks?

The Country Store in Central Spokane has a bunch of chicks. I am going in the morning to pick up a couple of fur balls. I think Rump will be receptive. When I reached under her to put a fake back under her, she lifted up a bit for me. Like she would if a chick was trying to snuggle up.

One of my chicks pooped a spinach green poop !! And it's kinda weird .. Is it natural ?

the white one is Pauly, she's a French pure Sussex Breed , the yellow head-black is lazy Ann , she's a Sussex hybrid with o don't know what kind

this one is my favorite, she's a pure French but from an unknown breed, I called her breed ' French Muslim' cause she's kinda wearing ' Hujab' on her face , and ' Hujab ' is something Muslim ladies cover their face of when they go out in public of someone don't know what am I talking about

so pretty, the second pic, she has a beard. if she lays a tinted egg (blue/green) she's likely an Easter Egger, which technically is a mixed breed chicken... lovely girls!
