Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I'd much rather listen about chickens than Celiac, for sure! although, I would have been interested to see how in depth he got, how was it MC?

I've got it bad. 20 parts per million makes me sick. a good dose makes my scalp blister and causes my hair to fall out. very unattractive. not to mention all the intestinal horrors - glutened, I don't "pass gas", I crop dust. clears rooms.

yeah... has to be 20 parts per million, or less, to be considered GF. 20 PPM is a tiny amount, but it still is there and sometimes just enough to do me in...
I can't eat the stuff manufactured in facilities that process wheat...
I missed today's Oz too... how was the chicken segment?

I made it to the top 30 for one of my photos for the calendar contest!

we had 2 Field Trips today. I was a busy lady keeping an eye on everyone!

@cheeka
If you make your own chicken calendar, I would like to purchase one.

The Oz segment on chickens was good. I didn't know that they soaked processed chickens in a bleach water bath for 90 minutes. :p Time for me to process my own cockerels .

Junior is finally 6 months old and he crowed for the very first time! he sounds like a little guy, but maybe that's because his mentors are the two kazoos, Dutch and Brutus. Senior is 3 and a half.

Dr. Oz spoke about the cross contamination, and the lack of regulations on "gluten free". I disagreed about the information on today's chickens. I have been to Perdue and Tyson plants in the past year. All butcher at nine weeks, allowing smaller chickens up to twelve weeks. Not the six weeks claimed.

Stevie Nicks is due in about two weeks.

Anywhere from a dozen to two dozen chicks as of today. I am so against aborting (doing it myself anyway) that I can't toss extra vegetable plants, and will do anything to revive a house plant before sadly tossing it. I can either take all the eggs, or all but six. If I take them all, I will replace them with green eggs from the house.

Nice haul Scrambles! y'all will eat very well this Winter! I've got some striped bass and brown trout stashed away and one of my customers gave me an amazing venison roast - he'll have more in a month... I'll have plenty of venison, I let one neighbor cross my land to get to state land for hunting. he shares as a thanks for the access. old BH used to provide lots of food from the land and water... I've got good resources now because of the eggs. I've got jams and jellies, sealed servings of beans & brussel sprouts, and today I got a cute little hen decoration, to go with a rooster decoration another customer gave to me for my birthday last year... amazing how many people think of me out of context... I mean, I'm just the postal lady... one lady leaves me apples all the time, another lady, it's a cold bottle of water. last week, a woman gave me a 100' dog cable run and the lady who used to be Chester's grandma keeps buying big bags of food even though he's been mine for over 2 years. Life is good. it's crazy that I haven't moved yet. now it's a wrench. I hate to leave. I'm working on a new arrangement with an old friend of mine who's son is committing to a college out east. she wants to be closer and has asked how urgent it is for me to move... could I wait a year or even 5? she would move in, help me make home improvements and we could sell when he graduates. in the meantime, she's willing to take care of everyone and everything so I could travel to see my folks. she has family nearby and tons of friends down on Long Island. it's a smart move. just have to wait for him to finish his senior year.
