Cute babies!
Speaking of babies. Today, I cleaned my coop out and stuck the babies in the run while the grannies were out ranging. Then I tricked the grannies into coming back in, where they encountered the babies in their run. I threw down a fair bit of scratch to distract everyone and left them to it. So far, it's like a middle school dance. Babies on one end of the run, grannies on the other. Not a lot of action so far. It's starting to rain now so hopefully the babies can defend their position under the coop and stay dry. I guess if they get wet I will bring them in tonight and put the light on them. Otherwsie I had planned to let them sleep in the coop tonight. Weather is not supposed to cooperate really but they need to move outside. I think they're about 7 weeks old.
DH went fishing on CdA Lake yesterday and caught a nice salmon. The girls are enjoying it also. We are off to see if we can get more.
