Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

thanks W4W! that's just how I feel too! hardwood floors, fireplaces, overhead lights and room for company!!!! hope you can visit someday soon! same goes for Scrambles, MC and all my friends here!

eta, only that one garret room with the hexagonal window has carpet.

One room of carpet is just fine. Easy to replace one room when it gets old. Ohhhh, I hope I can visit some day!

I was just looking to see if you can have chickens (yay, you can) and saw your post on the Greely FB chicken page. I saw their other website and looks like they are on BYC as well, so you will be in good company. Yay for chickens!! Hope you have good neighbors!

yeah, it is narrow, but we're not kitchen dwellers... we cook in there, that's it, I know folks who hang in their kitchen... and I do have a cute slender kitchen table that will fit inside... but really, we eat while watching a movie or whatever... I can't wait to see it, I will attend the closing, then my folks will take Wrangler and myself up for a tour. it may be bigger than it appears, but who cares right? the sun room is insane! and I guess with the limit of photos on Zillow, not all the rooms are included...
May be bigger than it appears? It's over 4,200 sq ft. Twice the size of my house! Of course they must be counting the sun room and basement, but those are awesome spaces! They make the rooms look tremendous in those wide angle shots, but with so many rooms to choose from, I think is will be very comfortable. It's a little strange to buy a house you haven't actually seen in person... good thing your dad has great taste and high standards.

good luck with the move,
sorry to hear about the chickens I just lost one tonight, daughter came in and said one of the chickens did not look good, I went out and got her to check saw her bottom was blocked up so I cleaned it then was holding her in my arms and she just closed her eyes, not sure what happed but I was upset,
we have 15 peeps in the screen room in a cage, one found out how to fly out so now we have a top on them.

In Colorado, feeling a bit disjointed. Missing my flock, but all of them were placed in good homes, not one had to go to the wildlife sanctuary. I'm not in the new house yet, but we closed on Tuesday and I got to tour it afterwards, it's truly awesome... Going back up tomorrow morning to meet the locksmith, the plumber, the electrician and the gutter guy... Then Wrangled and I will be back in Denver at my folks. We went swimming today, it was so much fun, so the plan is to go swimming again tomorrow. Oma and my brother might pull in tomorrow, but likely Friday morning... I can't wait to get the truck unloaded!

PBS had a show on last night about all of the national parks in Colorado. Absolutely beautiful. There are even giant sand dunes! Yes! sand dunes in the rockies! Amazing. Now I want to go more than ever!!! Hope the moving is progressing smoothly.

chickens must want to go back to the old house, we opened gate to yards and cut the weeds down this moring, went in to check peeps they are doing great in their new home, the older hens went in yard and layed 8 eggs in the grass we just cut, found 2 early today, tonight i was out there walking around and no eggs then my daughter and great granddaughter went out about 1 hour after me and look at what she found.
some one wants to set.
