Oh, I know I need to check a few more times, but this wasn’t the typical case. The two biggest factors were catching it early and she is still a baby. Which is how I caught it early. Her thin, fine hair makes it easy to see her scalp (which also makes it less inviting) and get the treatment in there. But her being a baby means I hold her. Cuddling her, and playing with her hair, I discovered it.Takes longer than a day to get rid of. You have to pick nits off for a couple of weeks
But even with the admission, you probably still need a license to hunt them. The vineyard owners help keep the populations down around here!Fish and Game have admitted that the turkeys were a mistake. We have them here too.
I read and article that said we have the highest density of wild(Eastern) Turkeys in the US now. They are an invasive species that has done very will here! Perhaps they need to pay a bounty for them.
Have you ever eaten one? I was wondering what they are like. Lots of dark meat?We have the turkeys here also. So, no thanks on the eggs.![]()
If they don't clean up at her house, she'll just get them again. Are you getting itchy? I am!Oh, I know I need to check a few more times, but this wasn’t the typical case. Anyway, it’s nothing like my mother having to treat seven children, plus any friends that had mothers that couldn’t deal with them. Oh, my mother was a mean woman when it happened!! All that combing, shampooing, laundry...
Wild and heritage turkeys do have more dark meat. Shame I don’t eat dark meat. I still have a jar of my last turkey that dh never got to eat before taking off.Have you ever eaten one? I was wondering what they are like. Lots of dark meat?

I’m not itchy, but I’ve been washing with tea tree and mint oil myself. I’m also staying away from Duckling for the most part. I still don’t see anything on her tonight.
My hair is now down to my hips. As a hairdresser, my s-i-l should know perfectly well that I need three of any treatment. Perm or otherwise. She said she would get me two treatments for just me. I was happy. They are costly. Then she saw the price. She wanted me to share one box with Duckling.
It includes a house spray, and they are doing laundry tomorrow.
What floored me was that they weren’t going to treat her until “sometime next week”.
