I got 2 cream eggs and 1 brown egg today...

I'm gonna take over the Albany Districts Express Hub and make a Chick Central Corner. We have lights and everything... I'm gonna set up a Pie Stand

So, OK... make sure you route Roger's travel plans thru my office and I'll slip Pie in her box

Soooo I find myself wanting to give them boy names....why I don't know but I'm thinking why not? Until they prove me wrong....or am I just setting myself up ? Lol

my nosy neighbor came by today... with a humongous tarp that I can use to cover the enclosure...! it's so huge, it covers the whole enclosure AND the portable run and one of the 2 coops if I want to.

she took a dozen eggs in exchange... 4 of which were laid TODAY! so my girls are doing great, just waiting on RIR Violet and EE Isis... 2 cream (Betty and Wilma) 1 brown (Rose) and 1 green (Blu)


pretty cool, huh? and I still have 4 eggs left for me til tomorrow...

P.S. I like Flintstone names for BR's but... y'know... it's cuz I live on Bed Rock...

2 soft shell eggs in the nest box today... got there just in time to watch Wilma finish eating one and start on the other... there is plenty of oyster shell available... maybe my other 2 that i'm waiting for have started????????????

Gave away three dozen today. Still have about two dozen. Somebody will bring me empty cartons tomorrow. That means they need eggs. Girls have not let up even with the cool weather.
