Are you sure they are not eating the eggs? Seriously I have four Golden Comets and a bad day for them is three eggs. Almost always lay four eggs a dayToday, we got....... 1 egg. I want more than one a day!!

Were those Comets laying before you got them? I turned on the light in my coop one morning and a egg rolled off the poop board onto the floor and broke and in a matter of seconds they ate everything shell and all. If I had not been there to see it I would have never known there was even a egg there. But you would probably see a wet spot somewhere if they were eating that many.I'm sure. I even checked up and down for a hidden nest. They had an hour or so of free range time today.
I'm fairly certain. They were chicks in Easter. I don't have a poop board, mine lay in a nesting box, or on the floor.
