Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

)! Everyone must be stunned. So many lives changed in one evening. Sounds like you were well prepared and I'm sure your neighbors really appreciate you sharing your good fortune so generously.

ME TOO!!! had 4 earlier, and just went out to say goodnight and got another beautiful Isis blue-green egg! Blu told me she would never lay another egg if I said she pulled "a Roger"... so Blu... took the day off!

OK, how do you know who isn't laying eggs? I've been trying to figure which goes to whom since they started laying. Most are obvious, but there are 3 that I can't always tell.

My cross-beak,, Cadbury reminds me of a Roger. She is an Aracauna. While I am standing inside the coop, I have the half door to the feed room open. I lean over, and begin filling a feeder. She jumps on my back, walks down, jumps off me like a diving board straight into the feed. No flying or fluttering. She DOVE! I removed her so i could get the last of the feed out of the can, and she just jumps up on the door underneath me, looks up at me, and jumps back in the can.
Then she called to the others to jump over the door while I am hanging the feeder. Someone was kind enough to do a big pile in front of the door.

It's simple. If they lay seven Roger didn't lay. If they lay six Roger didn't lay and she ate one. If they lay five Roger didn't lay and ate two. If they lay only four Roger didn't lay, she ate two of them and somebody is dead

Yeah, I kind of thought it was like that!

But,

Maybe something besides Roger is eating those eggs...
