Should I get silkies?

I have done a lot of research and I'm pretty confident in my decision of getting silkies in April. I already have 3 barred rocks but I heard that barred rocks will pick on the more docile chickens. My chickens are free range in the afternoon and they live in a huge run with a coop attached at night. How should I introduce my silkies to my barred rocks? And are silkies prone to getting eaten by predators? Can they defend themselves? Please give feedback if u actually own a silkie... I need honest answers. Any advice helps!

I don't have any myself, but from what I have read, they would probably do better if you made them their own private and ultra cute coop and run combo.

That way you could have their place all dry. Also, Silkies can't fly, so I think that they would be quickly gobbled up by predators.
