Should i teach my duck how to fly?

I don't know where you are (I wish people would put that in their avatar thing or whatever it's called it really helps when you're trying to help people!) but you might want to try going to a local (not a chain store) farmer's market type place if you have one nearby. They will probably give you all the stuff they were going to throw out for free and the ducks will LOVE it!

I think it's called the profile! Please put where you are!
already did =3

The OP lives in Mexico, they may not have all the choices we have here for feed. A good balanced poultry feed is important. Then treats are just added bonus. But we also understand every culture has their own way of feeding their animals [pets] too. Do you have access to a feed store? @LilyPearl696

Did they ever mention if they had just one duck or many. My male pekin wouldn’t eat anfter his wife died and he was all alone.
I only have one but it might be something like that since this November and December i was basically babysitting a female duck that looked a whole heck of a lot like a mute duck and i just got a message from her owner that she laid eggs....so he might be sad that shes gone

What are the chances of him being a male White Layer duck and not a Pekin? If he is a white layer, then his reduced appetite would just mean he finished growing and no longer needs to eat very much. At 4.4 pounds I doubt he is a Pekin. He should be 2 or 3 times that size if he were a Pekin.
He is a pekin (at least from what i know ) he used to be 4-5 kilos until he stopped eating, hes gone down around 2-3 kilos
