Should this Roo be euthanized?

Took on a fox and survived to make it home and tell the tale? Sounds like a keeper to me.

Trim the feathers and general wound care. Observe for abscesses from the puncture wounds as pathogens are inserted but cannot be washed out until becoming pustules.
Electrolytes for the shock of the situation.
Nice high protein food for increased healing (scrambled eggs?)

Brave friendly roosters are fewer than normal. Rehabilitation looks like it could be quick.

Ijate to be so in agreement with you,but my dogscould work with a roo like this.

Gonna have to elaborate on that one a little for me.
If this was meant for me I will respond, apologies to the OP as this post isn't about me. My dog's go out and key into the egg song daily. They are 200 pounds of mean and determined if they want to be. I just feel they could work well with a good roo's guidance.

EDIT I guess I am saying I could us a great roo too!

I would only suggest you set up a gofundme account for him.

I’m not sure if you’re joking, but it’s only a Rooster. I would care for him differently, but they have to downaht they can. She told me today he got some tasty leftovers, and he ate them right up.

And figure out why a fox got to him.

I think it snuck in under the he fence. The good news is that they caught it in the act and shot it.

You can train your dog to not attack the chickens, I did this when I got my first batch of chicks. She was a rescue and was probably 4-5 years old when she first saw any poultry. She is a pit bull mix, and she now walks freely around the chickens and turkeys. I just watched the Dog Whisperer, and followed his steps.

Oh my girls don't do anthing but protect the chicks. I am so sorry you guys lost a nice roo I wish I had.

Just an update for you guys. He is doing well and I'm sure he will make it. The other night, he was back on the lowest roost, and yesterday, he came out of the coop like normal. I think he probably isn't holding his head as high, but he is doing remarkably well.
