You "may" have a chicken coop ... but no way is it like the one you posted pictures of on page 1 ... the inside and outside pictures don't match up!

So ... you do have a round topped coop ... but not a three level nesting box?

How fun! What nice homemade coops. I will post a picture of my "Fort Knox" that my dad built for me when I let my chickens out tomorrow.

Nevertheless, the subject of this thread is homemade coops that you built yourself. I do not think manufactured coops fit under that title even if you assembled it. We want to see YOUR coop and the inside of YOUR coop. Surely you can go outside during the daytime and take a picture of what you have.

Here are some picture of my coop. The inside picture only shows part of the coop. I don't have another one. The coop is 6' by 8' and about 5 1/2 feet tall. In the picture of the outside of the coop, the run is not covered. This fall I had a roof put on the run rather then use tarps again.

Been off this forum for 3 years since I moved. But here is what I built this year. I did not build the coop which was made by "coops for a cause."

My big coop. It measures 8'x14'.

Inside during construction. I hadn't finished the windows or roosts yet.

My 6 bay nest box. It is light enough for me to remove it from the coop if I need to.

All my windows open like these on the South side.

Yes I built the entire thing prefab style and my hubby helped me get it all put together.
Had to get that part done fast as I tore down the old coop and the birds were stuck in what was left of their old run while we finished this up.
