In some of my videos you can see the run and all my coops but I did recently add roosts to what I call the mansion where they can hang out and also lay eggs

Now half of my Eggers roost in there and here is some pics inside and a partial outside

It is 6 ft tall outside 7 ft tall inside bc we dug out a little its 16 ft long 8 ft wide
Here it is with the girls showing their approval

This is a partial outside within the run though I put cloth up for more light and air flow bc it gets super hot here

This is a view from the door there is a open mini door for them so they never feel cornered they have 2 entrances this way and 2 exits, they love that option

This is a view from the other side the large door is just to the right out of view

Its "just watch if work" lol
LOL - I just snagged them off the internet. I had no idea what the actual lyrics are. I was just hoping it'd get you to come back. I am a heavy metal, jazz, prog, and classical fan myself. Not a big fan of Coldplay, but I respect them.

But it worked - you're back! I hope you can post actual pictures of your actual coop, if any of it is home made. (I'm trying to mend fences - that's what I do, both figuratively and literally).

Oh my gosh... broody Brahma. Mine went broody twice last year. She was only 6-7 months her first time. I broke her both times fairly easily.
I have been dying to share a story because I think it is awesome adorable. We have many wild chickens on the islands and down at our pasture people have dropped off a few domestic roos they don't want. Roos mate with the feral Bantam-esq hens and that is how I got my two rescues. Their mom got ate by cat and I found and adopted them. They are my best girls, super friendly, smart and resourceful and great layers of smaller eggs. One went broody 7 days ago. I let her sit and then stole 2 fertilized eggs that I was sure were 'Mr. Biggles" (a handsome Cinnamon), from a nest at pasture. They hatched in two days and my hen is adorably in love with them and they her and I love seeing her so happy and eating again. Poor Brahma wants to steal her babies. I will definitely let Brahma hatch out some eggs if timing is right. View attachment 1636567 View attachment 1636568
