I went on a coop tour this past Spring and was just blown away by some of the gardens/landscaping that had been planted and how eveyone had incorporated their coops into their gardens. This was an "Inside the Beltline" tour, so the yards were typically small as were the coops and flocks. Anyway, I'm starting to think about reclaiming some of my backyard from the crabgrass and would love to see how others have landscaped around your coops.

Thanks!!

Well I've lost most of my photos in a hard drive crash. But, I do have some suggestions. Pictures are not mine but will give you the idea of what they look like.

I too want to include some fruit trees in my landscaping...I just haven't decided which ones. Fig trees do pretty well around these parts too, so that's going to be a must!

Can you plant some Cochin Trees in my barnyard ...

they're only good for groundcover... no shade offered whatsoever...

I would love to trade seeds with you. I have a couple like yours, but mine are a different variety than yours are. I really think that you could make some profit at the Farmers market with your crop.
