Show me UGLY coops- where my peeps at?

This thread hits close to home....maybe a little too close. Our possibly 100-year-old-milkhouse-turned-coop is nothing to look at. However, it's sturdy, and does its job keeping the girls safe every night with cinder block walls, concrete floor, and metal roof. Not to mention, it holds quite a few birds....though not nearly enough to satisfy our addiction.
Here it is when we bought the property, obviously in the process of removing unwanted greenery in preparation for an upcoming flock:

I love the "ugly" coops! Not ugly at all, very functional!!

Sorry not responding individually, lost 2 chicks last night to coccidiosis attack. Other chicks doing well but feeling pretty sad.

We made ours out of pallets and old barn/fence wood. It's not much to look at, but it is solid and secure. I dressed it up a little inside with some curtains.

How's this for ugly? Recycled chain link pen and scrap lumber shelter... it used to be a turkey pen, but we had a wildfire, turkeys all gone now. Do I win??

Thanks, someday I might get more turkeys, but now isn't really the best time. The chickens got replaced (if that's the word, I liked the old ones better!) but there are only half a dozen birds on the property now.

I think it’s pretty! When we first got our coop it was $200 off cregslist and had a small run attached, we built a bigger one around it that looked like a we’d cut several runs up and tied/ duck taped them together! So glad we replaced it!

I almost did that! None of the coops I could afford were big enough, so I was thinking of expanding one. I'm still not sure if that would have been easier or cheaper or not! I thought this would save sooo much money and be easier This one has cost me about $150 in hardware and roof panels. All of the wood was free. I was hoping to keep it under $100 but at least it was close.
