Show me your blue eggs!

Most purebred show quality ameraucanas will lay lightly tinted almost white eggs. We ordered Easter Eggers from Cackle hatchery and the chickens layed beautiful dark blue eggs, They also layed light blue and olive eggs. So if you want a variety of egg colors go with Cackle hatchery.

So where are the pics? Or did I miss them?

We don't have them any more, we moved so we had to give away our birds. We never took any pictures of our eggs. We just ordered some more EE from cackle, so in a few months I will post some egg pic's.

No, my girls didn't lay yet. . . But I finally got myself an example of a good blue egg. This is a Blue Wheaten Ameraucana egg, and the chick that hatched from it will hopefully also give me a nice, rich blue color.

My own girls are due to lay in 3 months.

ooo, that's pretty!
and the maran eggs behind are gorgeous too
I would love it if mine laid eggs that color.
I've decided mine lays an egg exactly the color of my light green shirt.

These eggs are from my EE's that I purchased from a hatchery as "Ameraucana". I am not very good at photographing them, but I get many shades of blue and green.

I'd love to see the right side 3rd down blue one in the sunlight
that looks like a very nice blue
I love the assortment of colors you are getting

I have pair of Lavender Ameraucanas. Should I expect the hen to lay "blue" eggs like those in the pics? I also have some EE's but the eggs they came from were green/blue.

I just hatched some Black Ameraucanas from some blue eggs. Here is a pic right after one of them hatched. The egg he came from is behind him.

A pic of the egg before he hatched. The camera really does no justice to how blue this egg is!
