Have you had problems with the chicks getting entangled in her fluff? My Silkie hatched some quail for me and she was a fantastic mom but she squished a few and there were a few that got stuck on her feathers and they died. Interested to know how yours fared?

All of the ones she raised are doing great. I'm sorry that happened! I wonder if maybe because quail are so tiny??? My girl raised standard breed chicks. And my Silkies seem to be smaller than many for some reason.

I would never even think that something like that could happen! What a tragic thing....
