I ordered an EE this year, and was super excited when it was black instead of the regular chestnut chipmunk color they all seem to be. Well, she went from this:

To this:

I didn't really expect her to turn out gold with a black beard...she looks so much like a gold laced EE named Waffle that I lost last year...Waffle looked like the regular chestnut chipmunk colored EE.

i bought this chick last May.. i thought HE will lay eggs for me but....

HE turned out to be a dirty leghorn roo!

after all, i still love him as a mistaken hen

what about a bath? haha
