Show me your lofts!

Here’s some pictures of my current setup. 8x4x6, make the roof at least a couple inches higher than your height unlike I did or you’re going to end up with a sore head :)
The trap is very simple and built right into the door, the landing board folds up against the door and hooks onto frame. Box perches are a good investment they’re much easier to clean that any other perches I’ve used. This used to be a pen with a dirt floor but I dig it out filled with gravel and threw some pressure treated plywood on the floor to make cleanup easier.

Beautiful! And your bird's are so precious!
I love the homers, they're such sweet little birds.

I really like it! Would you happen to have a picture of the entire loft from the outside? If you don't, no problem

Sure thing. The rear wall is solid except for a vent strip at the top and the wall that it shares with the shed is solid of course too. The solid walls face north and west which is the direction of most of the wind here. They can handle the cold just fine but not drafts. The corrugated roofing allows venting through almost the entire roof edge without letting drafts in. I throw some sheets of plastic up when we have snow just to keep any from blowing in, but normally the eaves are sufficient. I add or remove some of the side panels depending on the season.

Love it! I was considering building off the back of my chook coop.
