Show me your rabbit colony hutches

You have NO IDEA how much my wife has gone bunny nuts. :) Will have to grab a few, but sure. :)
haha true

This is by far the easiest way I've kept rabbits. My only problem is the roof leaks big time, so it gets muddy when it rains. View attachment 1166600 View attachment 1166601 View attachment 1166602 View attachment 1166598
Wow looks good all one breed?

Here are the 30x30's just as we started cleaning yesterday ( so no mats in them). 24x24's are identical.

Top to Bottom:
Angel: Blue Tort
Radar: Black Tort
Squiggle: Broken Tort.

All Holland Lops.

You can also see the 30x36's to the side there. We have Netherland Dwarf and Holland Lops in those as well. The one on the bottom has 3 of our Dwarf bucks in it. They get along pretty well so we've not had to separate them yet.

I'd love to get some Dwarfs lost my lionheads to something still searching for the killer. but I've got 2 lops and 3 babies and my rexs. Just picked up the lops and lions on saturday post pictures of the setup in a few hours. Also started on my chicken coop last night stopped at around 4am.

Do I need any certifications to sell rabbit pelts or meat? Sorry for the sour subject or would it be easier to just sell them live weight to the buyer or processing plant?

You need to check out regs for Kentucky. They can vary state-to-state, and depending on volume you may or may not have to jump through special hoops. Also unsure what USDA regs may apply. IS there a meat rabbit FB group for your area or state? I'd bet they know.

I'll have to search around the largest rabbit I have would be the California that I have.

I think I maxed the weight (more in the truck along with the rabbits. No one was on the trailer while in motion)

I know its not the best but it's the best I could do with the scrap materials I had only new pieces were the panels, tarp, posts, and rabbit guard fencing.

If it keeps them in and other critters out, it's doing it's job. No need to apologize.
