Show me your Runs!...please 😇

The run is really only used when things like this happen and the chickens choose not to tunnel out:View attachment 2569062
Otherwise, it is just an extension of the coop. It's 12'x28' with a solid roof and a 4'x8' extension off the back that houses the dust bathing area. When physically possible, they spend their day inside their pen. It is fenced in with poultry netting powered with a 10,000 volt/1.2 Joule output charger. The total area is about 1/3 acre.

But the coop also has a build-in brooder/maternity ward and 4'x8' outdoor area.

And I installed branches along the back of the run so the flock can preen and hang out there while they wait for me to let them out.View attachment 2569061
ENVIOUS!!!!

Here is mine. It's being rebuilt this spring. Maybe tomorrow and Friday. I want to figure out how to get a roof on it. I think my biggest problem is that the coop roof would empty into the run so I didn't want to have a short part of the run that I'd really not have access to.

The chickens have also dug a big hole underneath the coop that I am concerned will fill up with water. I really cannot get under it to see what is going on. I wonder if they're laying eggs in there as we aren't getting many anymore. Though, they're old girls, so I just expect not to get many eggs.

Anyway, this is going to change soon.

Runs! I have one main 16x24 run with an 8x8 coop that is my catch-all. It houses my BCM, my EE to produce OE with the marans roo, and my brown "eating egg" layers. Then one 8x16 that houses 8 seramas, and two more 8x24 pens. One holds an ameraucana roo and barred rock hens for sexlink EE, and the other is empty after I sold my buff orpington flock. All but the big run have portable 4x4 coops.

Yes i do! It was a Christmas present, so I’m not exactly sure. I’ll look into it for you.
Appreciate it, thanks! Even just a name on it would probably work.

& as not to ignore the point of this thread, here's my run. It's about 1600sf & covered with bird netting. I have 2 coops, both have their own small, covered runs attached too. Right now everyone shares the big run & they go to their respective coops at night as we're newly integrated & taking it slow because chickens are mean!

For clutter/entertainment I have an old ladder, a few different branches for roosts, a couple big logs, a pallet leaning on the fence, straw bales, planters, rocks, lol - you name it & it's probably in there!
