Back to work today after two weeks off,, she did NOT want to get up yet.

I think the fact that she could heal from such injuries without getting some kind of deadly infection speaks volumes about the care and cleanliness of her living conditions. Good job chicken Mama! I'd love to see the progression of her recovery. Please add photos in the future so we can watch her regain her girlish figure.

I should have taken pictures of her right after the attack but I just couldn't bring myself to. I took pics of Cheeps and then lost him and breaks my heart to see that the last pics of him were not good and he looked awful! But I'll keep up with her now.

When I got home she was ready to come in even though it was still warm outside. Pudster has taken her under his furry wing while I'm not home so I will post some pics of them together. She has a white bucket in the pen with her and when a roo gets too close or something bothers her, she gets in the bucket. It's on it's side and just her side lol.
