Centra if u would what material u use and how do u secure it?

On a side note those 100-150.00 camera setups have been very useful to me. From checking the weather or chickens or other animals that I would no have known about to whose pulling in my driveway. I have the monitor mounted next to my t.v. really convenient
Bought an 8 camera system with the online viewing capabilities... In process of remodeling my office before I set it up tho. Tested it and it looks pretty good, color during the day and enhanced night vision that works pretty good. Cant wait to sit at work while monitoring my yard.

*And punish the correct dog when needed. No more guessing who got the chicks.

I've got some storms coming through 50 mph winds. This weather is unacceptable.
I've had enough. Just screwed all my pens down. If they blow flat so be it.

yeah I don't have my phone hooked up to it I figured if something happened while I was gone at least I wouldn't see it unfold and only be able to watch. I'd rather see the aftermath

hope everything works out ok. What u secured them with? I use 2 2x2 pounded in on a 45 opposite of each other on the sides like front right rear left then drywall screw the dome frame to them.

Pens covered by shade cloth or carpet pieces. Coverings held in place by two bungee cords. When high winds anticipated one bungee cord is released allowing coverings to flap in wind rather than act as a sail. Remaining bungee cord keeps covering in place well enough so replacement is quick an easy. My pens are not well protected from wind so plastic tarps can catch too much wind even when partially released and they can actually push on a pen down wind causing it to tip or walk potentially releasing bird. Shade looks nicer than carpet pieces but does not protect well against rain.

Carpet good idea...I just layed some carpet down on top of my compost bed and noticed it didnt budge in the wind.

Yup same exact set up. Except I used deck screws and have no doors. Lol
Oh and the pens in the front have (4) stakes as well as my leiper bull stags pen.

2 days of straight rain and now storming. I'd say about 65% of my birds are laying now so that's a good thing at least
