Butcher hen.. 15 chicks

Ima just get some from nite owl they have a liquid that u give in a dropper straight out the bottle. The pills were probably two different kinds and the one u talking about is prolly one of the two.

We use wazine if we are worming a large number and our brood pens. You just give it in their water. Works good for round worm mostly which is all we come across for the most part. We use the pills for cocks/stags on cord and just go rooster to rooster and put them down their necks. Its time consuming but it works for us.

Ive only dewormed once about 5 years ago back at my parents house during a bout of sickness... Had no idea if it worked...

Other than that I have never seen any issues that would suggest I need to deworm them... what justifies deworming? what should I look for?

If they are wormy you can usually tell pretty easily. They will be pale if they are bad wormy, and lose weight with a good appetite. If u pick up a chicken and you feed well but they still feel a little thin they are usually wormy. We usually worm only when a chicken is symptomatic but we like to worm our roosters prior to the beginning of the season or at the start of a keep just for safe measure.
