So I have two clutches of chicks that were both weaned this past week. They are free range and have grown up together. One clutch is 4 weeks and the other is 5 weeks. Yesterday while closing up the coops for the night, I noticed that the dominant stags from each clutch must have had it out yesterday. I guess my question is what to make of it? They are so young and have been together. Would you consider it good bad or indifferent at this age?
Thanks for your input flypen! I have not had to separate them this young, but usually by about 7 weeks or so.I say good, I have to separate them at 4 and 5 weeks every year.
