Yeah I don't ever hunt the first split that's when the speckled trout are in

I've noticed a couple stags missing the past few days, to day I found the head of one from today's kill

I did have a white miner turn up missing awhile back Found feathers in the woods at the time there was a smaller hawk hanging around so I chalked it up to him. B*stards!

This has to be a big hawk or owl because 2 of the stags that are missing were to big for a small hawk.

Sorry to see this SDM. Had a small group of nest mates, 2 stags and 3 pullets penned in a large pen together. I have been trying to decide which stag to keep. The other morning I went out to check on the birds to find the stags made the decision for me. They are only 7 weeks old!
