I lose more chicks to dogs than anything else. Its sad but I know mine just wanted to play... The neighbors dog's not so much, they are just hungry..

That's the same here. The dogs next door bit down on our pullet, and she didn't look bad aside from a few puncture holes... and beino dead. Our cockrell is a real mess to look at, but no punctures. I'm worried his wing might be injured or broke. He doesn't seem to be in pain from it, but only uses one wing when trying to balance.

Im lucky not to have any neighbors closer than 1/4 mile,dogs caught abusing chickens are sternly dealt with ,if anyone s dogs are on my place they definitely do not take care of their dogs.

Nah I had her in with a an older stag. She didn't get to eat much since she was setting on eggs. I'll let her eat a little more for awhile. She'll be fine. She's pretty muscular in her chest. Only one way to put that on and keep it.

Those things are pretty cool but while I'm not a fan of many laws and regulations those things will cause so many privacy rights violations. Especially in use by gov and law enforcement. Idiots flying them things over people's backyards and spying women sunbathing etc.. Every other day somebody around here shoots one down. Then they get in trouble since they live in a "no firearm discharge"area lol
