Last year I had one of my Grey hens fly up after a Cooper and stayed in the air about 15' for over 50 - 60 yards. I caught her and put her in a pen before she jumped on the wrong critter. I have a Murphy hen that jumped on my wife's Chihuahua, one of our German Shepherds, she don't fear anything I believe.

Any offspring out of that grey hen? What do they way as adults?

Yes sir, I bred her back to a pure grey cock this year, all the stags will cock out around 4.2 to 4.15 normal for my grey broodfowl. The hens will be around 3 lbs., sometimes a little more.
