They are miner crosses lol. Got one more that is darker with a straight comb but he's a little on the wild side. Gotta get him out and mess with him.

That's a brother, but I was really just referring to the pattern on the neck

still molting and only has one spur, but he's a bad dude

I have 3 miner/mug young stags. 2 of the 3 have red in the cape near the head, the other one looks all black. 1 pullet looks like she's gonna stay all black too

Yes that mug looks good ,the best ones i saw shown 20 years ago were crossed on hatch , I let that old stock slip away when i acquired my uncles fowl ,, i wasnt focused at that point in time.

Anyone from LA think subject bird in thread below possibly confiscated? I have seen several threads here that sure look like they are initiated by parties that acquired such birds and really make a mess of things. A real mess.
