I dubbed a penny stag awhile back and barely got his comb off and he got real d*mn mad at me. Lol good bird same one that got me in the knee. He's a good bird just needs a delicate touch.

These little Greys are hard to raise, both of the stags have bloody heads.
Do they settle down after the initial rough housing, or does it just get worse? I had one hen raised clutch this spring like yours and they quit for a little while after the first go round. Then I had another hen raised clutch about the same size and with out warning, one little stag had a few marks and the other one didn't make it.
 
Just moved the boys in to some new bigger pens I finished building yesterday. This Texas heat is no joke.

To be honest the Greys don't stop till they can't see, then they're best friends again till one of their eyes opens back up and it starts all over again, most of my red stags don't get started this early.
