I'm just a lurker on this thread, but check in all the time to see your birds & learn what i can. Just wanted to say some of you have phenomenal breeding programs & some of the best looking birds on this site...IMO. I also appreciate dedication to your birds! Compliments to you all.....

Thanks sdm111 and Fly pen R havoc and all the others Shubin also tex for keeping Gamefowl Alive ,with the nature of these chicken s they arent as easy as some fowl ,i was raised deep in the hills and shunned the thought of having any other chicken near , i had uncles that kept me stocked up with fowl , i had a real rooster man in my uncle on dads side ,, he would bring sid and mug hens too me then set me up with a big Hatch wide backed green legged rooster,, my other uncle on moms side brought me a big black grey rooster ,, he was a ribbon snagger ,, i also had some Archie kehr kelso ,, but those roosters were30 odd years ago ,lifes took its twist and turns and ive always had Gamefowl, , but since the death of my uncle i had a resurgence, ,,having these chickens are too much in my DNA i cannot let em down ,i gotta keep them going.Thanks Again Fellas

Rounded this pullet up. She's one I wanna keep. She's got a nest somewhere in the woods, couldn't find it. Got her in a drop pen in the shed for the night. May have to dub her though, not a fan of that comb.
