Congrats. Just sent my first, of the year on its way to Hawaii I'll report a development rate later.

Cool Hawaii... how did you get that contact? BYC? They have a million chickens over there I am surprised anyone would go as far as Louisiana to get some. Although yours are beautifully colored.

Actually it was an ebay listing. I'm learning the way it works. To get my fowl seen past a 50 mile radius ebay works good to find connections. You're birds are seen all over the world then it's word of mouth or private sales via messaging. I will agree with most that say there's a lot of trash on ebay but there's a lot of good it has worked for me to " get the word out " so to speak. And it was for f-2 Kelso hatch my miners are spoken for till the beginning of April as of today but that changes pretty much daily. Pretty cool to get random e-mails for eggs from someone that knows someone. Then the people I know around here. And of course the folk here!

I wasn't joking about needing ice skates. After the snow and rain then real cold. It's a nightmare walking around out there. Slipping and sliding and tripping in my frozen footprints. Almost fell on the leipers pen.

Still dropping into the teens for at least the next week or so. I don't think it's ever gonna end.

Well today the temps dropped into the 20s with a couple inches of sleet and below freezing for a few days.

Ha no at the time i dubbed him they were hardly even there now he looks like a Budda. Just let it go no real point in doing it now it makes for good conversation
