Most large groups I see are in bottoms where corn or soybeans were harvested the previous season. January seems to be when groups biggest.

It is all relative.  lol  The ice in the water cups has been getting thicker the past couple of mornings, so I dumped them tonight and fired up the wood stove.  Winter is coming!

I've had the wood stove going the past two nights too. Gotta love the smell of burning wood. Doing my part for climate change

I have soybeans all around me but they haven't harvested them yet

Yep, It smells good tonight. I started with some cherry. Not too much heat, but sure smells nice.
