Are worms in fish generally speaking more often than not?
I came home and released the hens at about 9 AM this morning, and spread three waters and more than usual feed around the yard to thwart cranky moody Amidala having a monopoly on food and water. Leia was very active today, running around and foraging and very cross with me for putting the "Super Chicken Washcloth Cape" on her which she kept finding ways to get half way off, so I finally took it off her before I went back to work. (I will work on the design some more). Leia's pooh is now correct moisture level. She is still dyed a nice Orange and shows no new pecking damage or feathers being pulled. My work really messed with my plans to go to the feed store, but I was able to get bulk black sunflower seeds at the grocery store on the way home tonight... so I mixed up their feed for tomorrow with Sunflower, seaweed, various kinds of red pepper including whole seeds, cranberries, and turmeric and have put that out (I may add fresh ginger)... I go to work before chickens get up and come home after they have returned to the coop, this is one reason why getting home at lunch to release them is so important, also it allows me to make sure hubby is okay (I do not want him in the backyard, last time he went out there he fell bad, hit his head... the cancer has really done a number on him and the blood thinners they have him on makes any injury worse.) But the rest of this week home for lunch is not happening (work has been crazy) so I will open their pen tomorrow AM before they actually get up (flash light inspect her) and then go to work... I will open all three doors, as I am worried that if I only open 1 door they will not be able to escape if a predator gets in the coop as the raccoons, skunks, possums, foxes and cats are still out at that time. I see no signs of infection on her so that is also good. I am debating brewing up a wash I learned about by reading up on Vietnamese Game Cock care, I researched all the herbs and they are all good for healing up a bird and keeping them healthy when coming into contact with other birds (anti viral and anti bacteria and anti creepy crawler stuff) ... but that will be the whole spas treatment, blow dryer, so I need several hours to brew, wash, dry and oil her up.how's that hen doing

I am thinking Amidala might be more moody this time around as she kept trying to set eggs right up to her molt and was very cross with me for taking the eggs away daily... sort of a hyper broody molt cranky mood that has made her more territorial than normal.
I know me too, was bummed when I found out they culled them... come on that was Mad Science I could get behind. Sighyep.. thats the beauty of science, but its usually at the cost of someones pride/work/reputation.
I wanted to see the dinosaur chicken embryo they developed in the egg with teeth and tail. Culled them before they hatched tho![]()
