This wind is killing me. Pens are shuddering in the wind. I have 3 4x8 dome pens with doors. I have 6 bungees on each door keeping them closed but the pens are shaking so bad one of the doors just popped open. They're getting ziptied closed screw it.

Run a rope through pens tying a couple cinder blocks to each end. In a pinch I can hold down about 10 pens per rope. Should keep pens from outright rolling.

Those pictures are from back when it was hot outside. I been away for a bit with my home addition and work going on. Life and wife has had me busy at times almost to the point of selling out of my chickens. I just downsized and made life a little less hectic in the yard.

hey guys i got a new hen and she is three quarter bennet grey and quarter hatch and im wondering what y'all think and how she looks. Blue legs is a good sign but maybe someone might see something i dont. By the way i culled my experimental line of asils and toppy . all i have now is pure American game birds now. After some trial and error i realized orientals are not my thing.

Is she straight comb? What hatch blood is she carrying?

we shall see how he does. I've got a couple yet to cull, may have add him to the list.

Man that sucks...

And to everyone in the storm zones, I wish you the best. If you have water coming into the house take folks advice... mold is bad.

Where I am it was mellow today but it has been off the hook, I am not looking forward to the next big storm as I will probably be working out in it.

flypen she looks pea comb to me is that a bad thing or a trait that means she is more hatch than i was told?

Well, I can tell that I own Bob Bennett's Blueface Hatch and his Greys 100% pure. They are straight comb. If you crossed them in any way, your still going to have straight combs.
