They look exactly like my Blueface, I did gift a trio and 3 stags to a young friend so if I ever want a pair I know I can get them. The Bates are some of the most aggressive fowl I've ever owned, so a considerable amount of attention is needed to keep them from getting mean to people.
I am naive when it comes to the high dollar fowl... How high do prices go?

That's too bad on the Bates, they are beautiful fowl, but I imagine they are a lot of work as you say.

how long till they are completely grown
They will produce figs in the first year... although not many due to size... Some of the cuttings are producing figs already and no leaves... Reach full size in 2-3 years-ish.

Way to go. What will you do with all of them?
Not sure yet... I still have to transplant most of them into pots. I got them in big plastic bags with papertowels wrapped around them.

I am making plans to buy several acres of land out in the boonies (desert). Want to plant them and start little orchard. Sell the extras.

Nice! Did you propagate those yourself?
Yep... from two different trees at my dads house... plastic bag method... works great. like 95% success rate.

Transplanting is going to be the tricky part...
A greenhouse would be best. but I am hoping the cloudy weather will keep the humidity high until roots establish (hopefully before it gets too hot/sunny).

trying some other trees too for the first time... grape vines, ficus, juniper, and olive trees.

I have had success with chaya mansa, sugar cane, and all types of cactus in the past.

got about 300 figs trees for this year..
