I am going to be trading a hatch pullet for a blue fever blue pullet this weekend... found a co-worker with "big" farm... he saw my rooster hat and inquired. haha

is this a hatch or your kind of "hatch"? As in does it have anything else in it and she's been labeled a hatch and going to someone and possibly be bred to a game as a game?

It is below optimal, but I would be okay with it. I have left them in the nest overnight like that. I assume that is the night time low? If you are concerned, you can always pick them up after dark and return them early. I have been saving eggs. Our night time lows are still below freezing, so I replace each egg with a plastic Easter egg. They don't seem to notice.

I told him how I breed and what they are composed of. He was interested. I am going to go to his farm about hour away to see his setup and do the trade. Ill take some photos when I go there. Taking a stag with me as well to compare against the blues brothers. lol
