Fox came back early this morning. Pulled stag off roost. Stag lost tail, took some bites to body and lost a few wing feathers. Somehow stag got free and flew up into a tree a good 30 feet up an a couple hundred feet from barn. All birds will be penned tonight. I will be sleeping in barn with .22.

Swap out that .22 for a shotgun with some goose loads. Bs or BBs with a full choke will drop em from further than you think.

No idea I guess the appellations I think they about 10hrs away. Mississippi has what I would call mountains but you'd Prolly call them hills
